Gilbert Model Railroad Club brings together a community of over 25 train enthusiasts who share a deep passion for the hobby. It's a space where individuals can connect over their love for crafting detailed miniature worlds and exchange tips and techniques. Members collaborate on building layouts, operating trains, and sharing stories, creating a sense of camaraderie that makes the experience truly special. For many, a model railroad club is not just about the trains; it's about the friendships and shared moments.

Membership

What do we do at the club?

We operate - Operating a railroad in miniature, complete with yard masters, waybills and jobs. You command a locomotive.

We have meetings - A monthly member meeting is open to all members. It is place to discuss and share project ideas. Learn about other projects and a great place to meet members. Most meetings are well attended.

We have work nights - Give back to the club. You can decide work on your own project, help other or join one of the teams that help maintain everything in working order.

We have classes - occasionally, members or friends of the club will share their knowledge. These are class vary from modeling to railroad history.
